She had me at The Ramones.
But seriously, that was a remarkable five (six) minutes. It literally had everything. Friendship, violence, comedy, tragedy, love, life and death. And it even ended with a moral. Storytelling that tight and complete is either meticulously crafted or it’s just the plain, simple truth. And I doubt anyone could listen to the genuine tremors in Mur’s voice when she talked about Joey and the gang playing “Pet Sematary” and wonder which one that story is.

Matt, you hit it on the head.
Now that Mur has shown us how it’s supposed to be done, I guess I’ll have to try again sometime.
